1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aram platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including hiring managers, interviewers, candidates, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

Aram is an AI-powered recruitment platform that provides job description generation, resume parsing and matching, AI voice briefings, candidate assessments, collaborative review workflows, and related hiring tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with multiple plan tiers.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
Each account is tied to a single tenant (organisation). Multi-tenant access requires separate accounts.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Data Privacy & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with 12 salt rounds and are never stored in plaintext.
Tenant data is logically isolated; no cross-tenant data access is possible.
We comply with GDPR, SOC 2, and applicable data protection regulations.
You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the platform.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate job descriptions, match candidates, analyse briefings, and provide scoring. AI-generated outputs are advisory and should be reviewed by qualified humans before making hiring decisions. Aram does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Free trial accounts are valid for 14 days with limited features.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within the first 7 days of a paid subscription.
Usage limits (JDs, resumes, briefings) are enforced per your plan tier.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to discriminate against candidates.
Upload malicious files, scripts, or content that could harm the platform.
Attempt to access other tenants' data or bypass security controls.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

The Aram platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of Aram. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for the duration of your subscription.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aram shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to hiring decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
